Homecoming/Reunion 2021!

We have missed you and look forward to welcoming you back to campus September 17, 18 and 19 for an exciting weekend with Monarchs! Highlights include:

  • Alumni Golf Tournament: Compete for the Leo Cup on the links at the beautiful Mountain Laurel Golf Club. Get your foursome together and hit the links!
  • Homecoming Celebration: All alumni are invited to join us under the big tent at the Homecoming Football Game. Enjoy a cook-out lunch along with beer and sangria served at the bar. Cheer on the Monarchs as they compete against visiting Lycoming College. This event is designed for 21 and over and you must be pre-registered to attend!
  • Milestone Reunions: Several classes are celebrating big reunions this year, including the Classes of 1970 and 1971, our newest Golden Monarchs! This year the Classes of 1995 and 1996 will be celebrating their Silver Monarch Anniversary as well. There are also celebrations for recent graduates celebrating 5, 10 and 15 years since graduation. We are also honoring the Class of 2020 who missed out on an in-person graduation.
  • Alumni Trivia Night: Can’t make it to King’s for our in-person events? There are a few hybrid events plus we will host an online Trivia Night for those of you who want to participate but can’t be here!

A NOTE ON PARKING: Parking is limited at Betzler Athletic Complex for the Big Football Game and Tail Gate on Saturday 9/18. Be prepared to Park at nearby Mohegan Sun Arena and catch a free shuttle to and from Homecoming. (Mohegan Sun Arena is located at 255 Highland Park Blvd -Wilkes-Barre Township.) Thank you!

Alumni Referral Program

The Alumni Referral Program gives alumni the opportunity to refer prospective students to King's. Referred students who matriculate at King's will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

King’s friends and alumni looking to hire students are also encouraged to register as an employer. If you graduated within the last five years, you have already been added to Handshake.

King's Alumni will gather at Latitude Bar and Lounge (783 8th Ave (Between 47th and 48th) for an after-work evening of Monarch reconnecting and networking. For guests, King's will provide heavy appetizers and a complimentary drink ticket for Happy Hour Specials. Please register in advance so we know to expect you!

Alumni Book Club: Meet the Author Nina "Bocci" Cinti, Class of 2000

Meet alumna Nina Cinti '00, who under her pen name "Nina Bocci" is a USA Today bestselling novilist. We'll be discussing her book "On the Corner of Love and Hate," one of her "Hopeless Romantics" series, as well as how she became a writer, her writing practice, as well as her love of of a good mystery or romantic comedy. Finally, as this Book Club meeting marks the end summer for so many of us, we'll hopefully be able to share our favorite summer reads together. All Monarchs and book lovers encouraged to join!
